I do not like the "NEW" look of Opera. I do not even recognize the browser anymore as it has changed that much.
The most distasteful change was to put that "speed dial/bookmarks/discover bar" at the bottom of the page. It is very inconvenient even for mouse selecting.
I honestly would like to know what the designer was thinking on this change. Promotion perhaps?
