Hi, I'm unable to dock the mini-player as you show in the demo video for Opera one... relevant links and a screen recording of me trying: https://forums.opera.com/topic/74777/unable-to-dock-mini-player/2?_=1733977862000
I noticed the video seems show a Mac.. perhaps that's a Mac only feature? -

Hi, the desktop shortcut has stopped working. Launcher.exe is missing. When I call it from opera.exe, it works. Is this due to the update?

@TediSky There shouldn't be a launcher.exe anymore (at least in a clean install, but maybe Opera removes it if it's there now). You can right-click on the shortcut, goto "properties" and edit the target field command on the Shortcut tab so that it points to opera.exe instead. Or, you can delete the shortcut, right-click on opera.exe, choose "create shortcut", move the shortcut to your desktop and rename it to "Opera Browser".

@QkaMode Hello! Thank you for your feedback! The browser's slow performance might stem from system-related factors, such as active extensions, accumulated cache, or limited resources. Clearing the cache, disabling unnecessary extensions, or closing unused applications could help improve speed. A slow internet connection may also be a factor. If the issue continues, please let us know — we’re here to assist and always strive to enhance your experience!

@tedisky: Hello! Starting with version 108, we’ve made some changes to how Opera launches on Windows. Previously, Opera used the launcher.exe binary to determine and start the appropriate opera.exe file. However, beginning with version 108, the launcher.exe file has been removed. Now, Opera launches directly via the opera.exe file located in the installation directory.

I find the browser now crashes any time I try to move a tab where I'm on a Google Meet call.
This is a recent issue, and based on versions that work better for me, I believe this is related to Opera's implementation of screen splitting - which is frustrating, because I can already implement that function with WINDOWS + arrow keys anyway, so the new feature on Opera doesn't add any new functionality. The new feature does, however, add new problems.
Older versions of the browser, which pre-date this new feature, are working fine. However, Opera is not allowing me to continue to use older versions, instead requiring me to auto-update to the new version immediately. I would be happy to use the older functional version if there were a way for me to get permission to do so.
