@thelittlebrowserthatcould said in Opera 102.0.4880.70 Stable update:
Crash when uploading images e.g. attaching to a post.
This means I cannot report the bug through the report
wizard, which for some reason won't accept a report
without an attached image! I'm using the Debian build.Confirmed on MacOS with GMail

Uploading any files to any site crashes the browser on macOS and Linux builds.
How this passed your QA?! -

I confirm that it is not possible to upload anything, in any web site either mega or similar or even outlook itself with attachments. I use ubuntu 22.04 lts. I think it must be that this version is based on the 116 latest version of chromium, and not the current 117. Anyway.

It makes me laugh how in every update developers fix bugs and create new others ahahahahah. I don't know how much longer i will use this browser before i go back to Brave. In addition to not being able to load anything from the browser because "easy files" crashes the browser, my opera account logs out every 2 hours and synchronization get deactivated. Every time i have to log in again and re-enable synchronization. Inconceivable, truly a disastrous experience. How can you expect to put such a poorly functioning browser on the market?

When will you fix all the issues with tabs? Which there are plenty, and sadly more after each update.
The browser is almost unusable because of those, and you keep adding totally useless stuff like Chess-plugins and AI-toys
I'm really disappointment of the current state of Opera.

@leocg: Not really. What's in Settings is Opera's Start page, not the user's, and has been for a long time. Don't know how many thousands of times I've had to close/reopen Opera instead of being able to click directly on an icon over on the left side of the Address Bar that loaded my home (start) page.
Opera's Start Page icon is actually redundant, since it opens the Speed Dial, which the '+' on the tab line already does.

.but not here.
So you have 102.0.4880.70 and don't see the option to enable Start Page/Speed Dial in settings? Or do you enable it but the button don;t show up?
All streams should be available for everywhere and you should choose wich one will use
That's how it works

Ah, you are talking about that home button? Well,it's been about a decade that Opera doesn't even let you to set up a home page (no, the one you set up in on Startup is not a home page), so I guess everyone should already have accepted that Opera very probably won't have a home button/page.
