Dear Tina Chenska, Where is the version number that you are announcing.???
You announce this stable update as "Opera One (v. 101) Stable" - but where is the version number?
You should show the version number just as you do for other announcements. Why don't you show the version number?( I can find it 2 ways:
- Download the product then look at the version number of the downloaded exe instal file
- Look at the changelog at https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/changelog-for-101/
This yields June 5th, 2023 101.0.4843.25 – 2023-07-26
But - why do I have to use these cumbersome methods just to obtain the version number.
Important note: You normally show the version number of updates but NOTwhen it is a new version. Please fix this anomaly.
Why do I want this?
- Consistency in your announcements
- To maintain an easily extracted history of revised versions.
Conclusion: Show the version number every time that you announce a new update regardless.
You are being inconsistent in your blog announcements.Operating System Windows 10 Home (x64) Version 22H2 (build 19045.3208)
System Model TOSHIBA SATELLITE C850D-12L PSCC2E-02L00JEN

The duplicate open tabs entries showing with multiple devices is still occurring in this latest 101 version. This issue has been discussed in this forum post but has never been fixed to this day:

@leocg Thanks for the brief reply - I think it's way too brief.
As I showed in my teport the version is a really 101.0.4843.25
So - your reply was unhelpful and failed to answer my request to have your blog post announcements clearly show the version consistently. Please have another go at answering my original query.I know this is not a place to report bugs. This is not a bug in Opera the product but it is a "bug" in your announcements. They are inconsistent...

Please get back Speed Dial button next to Refresh button in adress bar.
Yes, we need the home button back! All browsers have one, why? Because it is really useful!

We need the home button back! Opera has become the worse browser now because of the disappearance of the home button!

@hex1984 Yes I know about it, unfortunately it works badly, not like the version under 100, it's pretty messed up....

Meanwhile, I still have no idea how to reclaim the tabs OperaOne decided to lose after allowing me to sort them out into Tab Strips.
You know what I, and I suspect many other want in a browser? Stability, and not to lose our tabs/favourites after an 'upgrade' is forced upon us.
I've gone back to Firefox after some 7 years as an Opera user.

Have another go at answering my original request.#

@leocg: This warning appears just because opera wants to close the window. If I have this warning disabled, the window will just close.
Why does opera want to close the window?
If you click "cancel", then every time you switch workspaces again, the warning will be shown. This is another bug.
