Yet more lack of choice -- removing the bigger tiles option for Speed Dial. You need to care more for users with vision problems, and anyone who wants longer tile labels.
Please give us the choice to disable the new animations.

@indiqazzz: I do not agree. When a tab had the audio icon I often clicked in the wrong spot and muted the audio.

@thelittlebrowserthatcould: you can just use zoom in to enlarge size of tiles. i'm using 110% now.

@indiqazzz sadly, that doesn't increase the length (number of characters) for the tiles' text labels.

@leocg: with several/many tabs open, the active tab is wider than the others (though not constant width).

@thelittlebrowserthatcould What OS? I'm on Windows 11.
If I put the mouse over the tab on the right inside an island, I can see a + button to add a new tab to the island.

@leocg Debian build. No island control to the left of tabs; close tab x control to the right.

Loving the new Opera One, using it as my daily driver, (Standard is now backup) . The Islands, the new Sidebar layout, the modular look and the way the UI seamlessly flips between workspaces. Great package imo, and running silky smooth for me, seems really stable. Tabs look wider (closer to Opera standard) than the last build, nice, much easier to read "at a glance".
Question re: #DNA-107573 Remove Use bigger tiles from Settings# --- My Tiles appear to be the same size, so perhaps the bigger size is now default? To be honest I'd really like an option to make them even bigger, as I'm on a high res U/Wide monitor and have a ton of screen real estate. Several steps +/- would be even better, then it would cater to everyone. -

@indiqazzz: I disagree. Better with wider tabs
Tabs should be shortened if there are many of them. but when using few of them I'd better prefer more width. It is more convenient for reading title and clicking.

@redfox-cz Nope, since version 96 Opera requires Windows 10 at least.

@johnston5129 Clearly there's something wrong. Did you try to logout and login again?
