why a tab is moved to the right automatically if I click on it? moreover I cannot open 1st tab at the left. seems like smth like +1 (or -1?) is added to tabs position and they are shifted after click. it happened after update to 96.0.4691.0 version.

I have to add that: In the meantime, I've noticed several times that even tabs that are open sometimes change their position. Most of the time it was the active tab or a tab around it. I haven't yet figured out what action exactly triggers this move. Sometimes it was a video clip that I watched maximized in WhatsApp and then went back to normal mode, sometimes it was a tab in which I could create fonts (bold, italics and so on) and other things. I have since turned off opera://flags/#ui-compositor-multithreaded but it makes no difference.

@pirap2, interesting. I hadn't even figured out that I can't click the first tab, but after reading your post I tried it and it's true. It does not work. In addition to the other strange tab appearances.

@pirap2: Same here. Got almost 100 tabs sorted in the way i need. And now clicking a link on a page with middle button opera opens new tab near the tab i was and then if i click this new tab it jumps 3-4 tabs to the right. Every time i have to drag it back manually The devs decided to make improvements and fixes and now it's a mess.

Related to this issue:
What happened to the tabstrip context menu between plus and magnifying glass?
Is option 'close all double tabs' gone?It seems disabling 'scrollable tabstrip' helps with the above issue, but creates another.
The size or width of pinned tabs changes, when 'scrollable tabstrip' is deactivated,
they get narrower. -

@pirap2: Same problem here, tabs are moving to the right if the current active tab is set to the left of the one I'm going to click, because after clicking it the currently active one will decrease its size, so everything moves to the left, and the new active tab has moved several positions to the right. I guess the number of positions it moves depends on the number of tabs you're using. If I click a new active tab that is to the left of the current one, it works correctly.

Opera 97.0.4697.0 - a new series starts. I hope, all bugs will be fixed.

Sorry, the tab-changing-bug is still there. Clicking on an open tab to the right of the currently active tab will swap it with another one.

Same issue as @petfish. Cannot edit/delete Speed Dial bookmarks directly from the Speed Dial via the three dots. Bug was present in previous version, also.
