Can't login to paypal

I can't login to paypal ever since the previous update. The new update did not fix this issue.
Paypal's first screen asks for email address. Upon hitting submit, the same login screen reloads. I've disabled all extensions, closed the broswer to upgrade to the latest version, and still no dice. I had to switch to (cough cough) Chrome to login to paypal.Any ideas?

If you’re having trouble logging in, you may just need to clear your cache and cookies from your Internet browser. If you need help doing this, go to your browser's support page, or do a web search with "How do I clear cache and cookies in (Your Internet browser name and version, for example, Internet Explorer 11)?"
If you can’t log in because you forgot the email address or forgot your password connected with your PayPal account, you can recover access with these steps:
I forgot the email address for my PayPal account:
Open the PayPal app and tap Forgot your password? Or go to the password reset page on a web browser.
Enter up to three email addresses you may have registered, then click Next.
If an email address you entered is recognised we'll let you know which one.
Click Continue to log in if you remember your password -

@varz1234 Thanks for the attempt to help. Clearing cache and cookies does not help and I for sure know about getting a new password.
The issue is, when hitting submit on the initial login page which just asks for email address without the password ( the password field comes up on the next screen) the page just refreshes itself back to email login page. Opera does not go to the next page which asks for the paypal password.
