@vfbfan said in Opera 84:
now DuckDuckGo as a built-in search engine has the same error
I confirm that this bug with duckduckgo appeared in Opera 84, Opera 83 does not have it.
Way to reproduce on a new profile:- Launch the browser.
- Run a search query on duckduckgo. Close the duckduckgo tab with the search result.
- When you try to use the search through the context menu - this bug appears.
The bug is valid until the browser is restarted, then all over again. Opera 84.0.4316.14, Win 7x64.

Remove fast tab tooltips, or at least add an option to disable it. Please.

@burnout426: Is it not done automatically. I can not understand such a situation.

@ironbone: The same happened with the last 83.x version.
In the meantime you can download debs and rpms from https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/84.0.4316.14/linux/

Can you guys please make the video pop-up Not automatically work when the video is paused? Why does it even do that when video is paused? Makes 0 sense from usability perspective.

We need to be able to turn off the Fast Tab Tooltips. They are not helpful, what they are is invasive. I often flick my mouse to move the cursor to the top of the screen and out of the way of what I'm watching or reading but now the fast tab tooltips appear and they are more annoying than the cursor.

Disable fast tab tooltips!
They're so damned annoying. As the workaround gas been removed then i'm just not going to use this browser any more.
I've had it with crap design being forced on me. I moved here after Firefox forced a crap design on us, now you're doing it. When will developers realise that the more choice the better and allow us to disable the crap they come up with? -

You'd think they'd have seen the possible issues in testing, or at least have seen the issues when people complained and used a workaround. I guess they love to ignore us. -

I would like option to disable the 'fast tab tooltips'.
It always pops up and I don't want it in the way all the time and it forces me to click the tab close but twice now.
I'm sure it must also use more memory which these browsers use a lot of now a days. I can easily have 50 tab open at once and every drop of memory saved helps.
