So recently my laptop had a performance issue and it turns out my windows folders are corrupted so I had to reinstall windows on another partition in my HDD and use it, the current one I am using was named D drive( Now its the C drive) and the old C drive is now the D drive. Inside the D drive( old C drive) contains all my previous data that I stored( pictures, videos, game folders, etc.). It also contains all the data from Opera GX like sessions, extensions and fill-in log in information. I installed Opera GX again on my current partition. I want to get back as many data as I can but I am afraid that I might tamper it. Is there any suggestion on what I can do? Should I uninstall opera from my current partition and open opera.exe in my old partition? Should I copy all the folder form my old partition and paste and replace the current opera folder in my new partition?

Let me know what do you guys think.

@vedd21 Opera and all Chromium based browser's encrypt some data to the user's login. Presuming they didn't clone the old drive this data will be unreadable to you. So unless you used Sync, passwords and cookies will be unreadable at the very least. Not sure about form data or extensions. Bookmarks should be fine.

I see, thank you for your reply. Is it possible to restore my previous session from my old partition into my current one?
