Opera needs my computer password to show passwords but i dont have one

opera basically just told me to put in the password of my computer to see the passwords , not that it didnt happend before but i dont even have a password to my computer.
how do i fix this? or atleast turn it off. -

Are you sure you don't have a password set? Windows may not ask it, if you log in automatically - but usually it is set.
Well, you can likely use little Nirsoft utility Chromepass then. -

Yeah, Opera doesn't reveal passwords without a system password. I believe it inherits this from Chromium and they probably can't do anything about it. Same thing happens on Android - if you swipe to open or use a pattern you can't see your passwords whereas if you have a PIN or regular password you can. (No idea about if you have a biometric ID like a fingerprint or face scanner.

@sgunhouse At least on my phone, it's possible to unhide the passwords using the fingerprint scanner
