how do i fix this? or atleast turn it off.</p>

I believe it inherits this from Chromium and they probably can't do anything about it. Same thing happens on Android - if you swipe to open or use a pattern you can't see your passwords whereas if you have a PIN or regular password you can. (No idea about if you have a biometric ID like a fingerprint or face scanner.</p>

Are you sure you don't have a password set? Windows may not ask it, if you log in automatically - but usually it is set.<br />
Well, you can likely use little Nirsoft utility <a href="https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/chromepass.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">Chromepass</a> then.</p>
