Force dark pages is turned off. Yet I still have websites appearing dark. This is not happening on Opera Regular. Only GX

You can temporarily fix it by turning it off with the flags until they fix it it.
opera://flags/#enable-force-dark
Default -> Disabled -

@xemperor Thanks for the sugestion, but already tried that a few days ago and the issue persist.
It seems like the main issue here is that the feature is enabling itself even tho it should be disabled. -

@leocg Same problem here, too. Some white parts of some websites are automatically rendered with forced dark mode, and the only way to read the text is to enable to force dark mode so the black text in black background becomes white text in black background. This is a massive bug, and I hope it gets fixed as soon as possible since it drastically hinders browsing experience.

I have a problem with displaying white. black background replaces white on many sites and text is not visible. How to solve this problem? -

Sometimes after opening some sites my browser Opera GX (LVL2 (core: 71.0.3770.175)) include dark theme for current site. This problem covers some sites (not all). In opera settings I didn't include dark theme for all sites. How i can fix it?
I attach the screenshots with this problem

I´m having this same issue, instead of changing the configuration what I´m using as a workaround is selecting everything (ctrl+a) so the marked text will make it readable.

I confirm, there is such a problem, on some sites the background suddenly disappears. And this is not a dark topic, this is a bug of all bields of the 71 version.

I had to go back to the 68 version. Everything is ok there.

It happens on all pages or just in those pages that have an dark theme? Did a little test here and it seems to me that sites are detecting that you are using a dark them in the browser and are giving you the dark themed version of the page. The same is happening in regular Opera.

@leocg You are wrong. The 'dark theme' looks different. This is a bug. Look, at the top there is an incorrectly displayed page, at the bottom of the 'dark theme' of the same page. And yet, in version 68 this bug is not present.

@meiso-op what @leocg is saying is that by default Opera GX uses a dark color theme instead of Opera that allows you to choose between light and dark theme, based on that "configuration" some sites are loading their "dark theme" but for some bug they change the background to black but don´t change their font color. That is why this issue happens with some sites and others not, because the other probably didn´t implement that rule/configuration.

@JFrigo I understood everything that he was saying. You must understand me the same way. I do not use the dark theme (like everyone who unsubscribed here). On version 68, everything is fine, does it bother you?

@meiso-op Maybe Opera 68 didn't support dark theme detection?
