@andrew84: In fact, you have to use it for a while and after a few items in the history (I did a test with seven sites in the history); after restarting twice the BABE worked.

@kened said in Opera 71 beta:

There must be some items in your browsing history for BABE to work.

        It seems so.
Now it's appearing, but it's incorrect in my opinion. Some sections can be empty (top sites for example), but recently closed/history items/last added bookmarks were there in my old profile.

        • Also, the BABE's layout/scale is still broken(many times reported bug). Depending on selected page zoom in Settings not all sections are visible or the layout is cut. For example, set page zoom to 125%.
And on 1366x768 display even with 100% zoom some sections are not visible, I must set zoom to 80 or 90% to see all the sections.

@kened: I did these tests with a clean installation.

@andrew84: I tried to reproduce these scale errors, but I couldn't.

@kened Most probably you're not on 1366x768 display currently.
To reproduce the 1st bug simply set default page zoom in browser Settings to 125 or 150%. BABE shouldn't react on zoom settings because this is a part of the UI, not a web page, as well as the sidebar panels (Bookmarks/History) shouldn't react too.

@thortik: I agree. The button just takes up extra space.

I hope you will eventually fix this bug in Opera 71:

When I want to add webpage via the "Add link to bookmarks" function, the bookmark is not created in the Bookmarks bar, but in Other bookmarks.

Make the 'search in tab' popup to show a currently active tab instead of the first item highlighted all the time when opening the popup (like it works in TabMenu). And background tabs should be highlighted when I hover them in the popup.

Pretty much 100% CPU usage all the time....unusable compared to the previous build.

Opera Developer patch is not working. It creates a bunch of new files but don't update version to 72.0.3791.0.

@proptop99 The internal task manager may help you on that.

@leocg: I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say 'internal task manager'?

Also, went back to v 70.x Beta and resources went from 100% CPU to a high around 40% but usually lower. I also have more tabs open so...seems like the build.
