Hi, everybody. The browser's internal functions don't work. Extensions, I can't load the background, I can't log in to my account. The Internet itself works, sites load.

Why did the changelog for 68 disappear yesterday?
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

I thought we'll see a Beta version instead, with fixes before hitting the Stable channel because 69 Beta is already promoted to stable (according to the changelog).

i report an hight cpu usage when i watching youtube video. About 20%-25%.
No big difference with Hardware acceleration on-off, i use a discrete gpu.
Same as previous stable release. -

@aquilawhite: Maybe because the video use AV1 codec and your GPU can't decode it.

Why the saved passwords can be seen by anyone in Opera? If someone's laptop is stolen, all his/her passwords would be known to the thief.

@leocg This happens way to often to be a site issue or to be updating it (they can keep it live and still update it (just not publish the changes yet (tho some updates never got blog posts & some were never posted in the changelogs)).

Hello, I use Opera, but I do not like the new updates, such as the yellow marker mode, how do I turn off this mode? Every time I search and click on some pages, I get a marked sentence from the page.

@leocg: No, it is not. Anyone can get at the passwords. The "encrypted" should not be seen with one click on the eye icon. Opera should ask the password for the OS for that. I checked the same with Vivaldi. It asks, Opera doesn't.
Actually, the question is for the Opera staff/developers.
