@johnd78: Yes, I checked it in Chrome too and there's the same behavior.
But I'd prefer the static pinned extensions icons instead of sliding.The feature itself is nice.
*I wanted to say 'Thank you Opera' for the feature, but that's the Chromium's change, as it turned out. -

I’m still missing the tab menu (from DNA-84410) a lot.
Why not have both the search button and the tab menu?I often need to re-open closed tabs (not just the last one via ctrl+shift+t).
And the menu gave me a good overview of open tabs in the right order when I have too many tabs open in one window and can’t distinguish the tabs from the icon alone. -

@ghirahim Now that’s more like it – thank you!
One of my 11 open windows currently has ~180 tabs open (I know, I need to sort that out at some point) and the vertical list of tabs in the menu helps. I’d happily take the search button in addition for when I actually know which tab I’m looking for. -

@ocirnes
Thank you. I expected something less common and more accurate though... -

It would really be nice, if Opera after opening and closing a tab by an external link (in an e-mail for example) would return to the last focused tab and not always to the far right one. Really.

'How sidebar' toggle is still not synchronized in EasySetup when hiding the sidebar using sidebar's panel or context menu.
*it works once after browser launching, but later it shows the wrong state.
- Hide the sidebar using EasySetup and enable it again.
- now hide the sidebar using context menu or using the toggle in sidebar's panel
- the toggle in EasySetup shows enabled state.

A bug I guess, when you logout out of account, and when you try to log in again, opera crash after a few moment of trying to log in.
Now I can't use opera from that moment.
