It does not happen, when you use the shortcuts ("1" or "2") for tab changing, only when you use the mouse. Here.

"As you probably know from personal experience, many of us open numerous tabs throughout a day of browsing, and end up getting lost between those related to work and those for side projects such as shopping, home renovation or which movie to watch."
        Yeah, guess what?
You once had the perfect feature for that: Tab Stacking.
        But then you abandoned it.

          Nice. Great idea.

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

Is this tabs sliding animation really necessary when switching between workspaces? It doesn't look quite smooth, I'd prefer static opened tabs.

There is still the problem with Secure DNS (DNS over HTTPS) opera://flags/#opera-doh. Sometimes it is connected, sometimes it is not.

Mostly when I relaunch Opera it is connected to Cloudflare and uses DNS over HTTPS (DoH). Very often it stays connected for a while. But then it seems to lose the connection and the DNS over HTTPS (DoH) even though I didn't do anything.

If the connection is lost I only can get it back by relaunching Opera. Nothing else seems to help.

                @ralf-brinkmann:
Connection problem persists since DoH setting was added. I recommend simple DNScrypt.

Note that workspaces share the same session. They're not for logging into the same sites with different credentials at the same time. (Just in case you were hoping that was the case.)

too many white flashes with both 67 builds. Dark Mode and #enable-force-dark flag enabled.

Thank you. I have downloaded and installed it. I have tried to setup everything like shown on their page. But it seems to do nothing. Is there anything that I have to change in Opera itself?

Please, add new section in settings and add new options about workspaces:

                                  • go/do not go to the previous workspace if close the last card in the active workspace
                                  • play/pause and hide pop-up with movie when switching to another workspace
                                  • show information (or quantity) about cards in inactive workspace in the sidebar (just like with messengers)

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

No, I didn't. Ok, I'll try this out at once. What about this "DNS Script Service - Remove the installed Windows service"? Must I press this button.

And what about all the DNS flags in Opera? Should I enable them or not (Secure DNS (DNS over HTTPS) and Secure DNS lookups)?

@ralf-brinkmann opera://flags/#dns-over-https is a Chromium flag and I don't know if it would make nay difference in Opera. Also it probably will use Google's DNS.

Ok, thank you. It seems to run without this flag now.
But I hope, that this developer version will become a little more stable and faster in the future. Especially in reloading pages.
