Bookmarks added to speed dial and forum errors

Just when I'd decided to switch to Opera as my default browser, today I found Amazon and Ebay added to Speed Dial on both my Windows devices - and when I come to the forum to forum to report it, I get multiple "the timestamp is invalid" errors.
Does anybody know what's going on? Adding stuff to my bookmarks (Speed Dial) is totally unacceptable - unless this is a one-off glitch, I'm ditching Opera...

Opera makes money through their default search engines and default speed dials. In the case of speed dials, you can delete them and they should not come back. But when Opera updates if there are new affiliates you may find some new speed dials. Only when Opera updates, and easily removed so I don't worry about them.

Other free browsers seem to get by without messing with my bookmarks...

Apologies, but using the forum is extremely difficult and frustrating due to the frequent invalid timestamp errors which, incidentally, are not connected to a version of the Opera browser - or to the Opera browser at all - they occur whichever browser I use.

But I got Amazon, which was already in my speed dial (in a folder), and Ebay, which I'd previously deleted.

Where you'll find the timestamp error has been fixed earlier.

Hey Im also getting ebay, amazon and facebook added randomly to my speed dial page. Frustating thing is I can delete them, there back as soon as I restart opera. Perhaps I should just accept that these companies are paying for my browser?

It should not be happening.

Opera makes money when you use those pre-installed Speed Dials as well when you use the search engines.
