...if I can only run down their separate threads (now buried well down in the forum stack, and the forum search has been of no help).
You could star them.

There is really big issue for me on this update;
It's about search engine, i can't remove default search engines. Because my custom search engines uses the same keyword. Normally i use "y" for youtube ,"w" for wowhead now they removed on this update and i can't add back. I'm using these two keywords for more than 5 years, now i can't. Seriously it's really annoying. I don't need default search engines really. Bing, yandex, wikipedia and amazon, they all is useless for me. Atleast give us to edit these default search engines or remove them at next update. If anyone have solution for it, i would really appreciate for it.

So... Why do you want v12 users to come to v25 when you are missing all the features?
You are adding features now that nobody needs or wants and missing features that brought me to Opera in the first placeIf you want me to use v25 please implement all the stuff you removed, in 5 minutes of using the 'Next' I already mis:
- Tab Stacking
- Link
- RSS Feed
Nowadays I use IE for sites like Facebook when they require speed so no need to install v25 otherwise I'll stick to v12.
I don't understand why you are adding new features and not reimplementing the old ones. Doesn't anybody at Opera read the forums or do you not care that you are loosing users? I used to recommend installing this browser to friends, clients and co-workers. But now I just say use IE or Chrome.

(sorry for my eng)As I recall it there wasn't even an option to remove them in the previous versions, but there was a workaround. It seems like they now have "fixed" it and you aren't able to remove them at all! I asked for an solution in this forum, and what do I get in return? Some stupid troll writes I am too lazy to use two litterals for youtube instead of one "y". What the ..ck is this even? I am looking for a new browser now.

This update is simply ridiculous, moron, disoriented and left me extremely upset. The speed dial page I can use in the old version, and the page of markers? Why can't I see them as thumbnails as it used to? Is there any way to go back as it was?

What's the point of this? We could already "update" to opera 12+ while keeping opera 12-.
All reading this did for me was that I quickly went and disabled the update notification I kept on in case of a security update like for v12.17If people wanted to "upgrade", they would have done so already.
I stopped trying the newer version a while ago because of the auto-update function which I find unacceptable and was causing me trouble when I wanted to try a new version and then revert to an older one because of problems that made the newer one unusable for me.
I know many workarounds to disable it, but they all have drawbacks when you don't want to disable it forever and I slipped up one day and the previous post 12 version I wanted to go back to became unusable so I deleted everything.BTW, presto still works surprisingly well on some websites, my parents still use it for facebook since some games work better on it then firefox, IE or chrome(there's no way in hell I'm going to install them a software that force auto-updates so they don't have the newest opera, I don't want to make troubleshooting their problems harder than it already is).

What do you mean by decrease tabbing performance? I use tab utilities to get tabs close to what presto had and I haven't noticed any performance problems.

Every extension that gives me tab lists when tabbing, has several frames of input delay. They also adds frames to tabbing(to go to that tab), so if I just hit alt+tab to go back to last tab, it will take several frames. Its a very notable delay.
There is also other issues, such as lack of smooth scrolling(inb4 you mention the checkbox for "add delay and interpolate").
Most of the ad block softwares increases page loading time, at the least those i tried.
I don't think you understand how significant the UI performance increase in Opera was, between version 7 and 9. And its making it very hard to migrate to other browsers. Now, the IRC extension works fine, as do a bunch of others as well.

I asked only because I was curious since I didn't notice anything wrong. Switching tabs for me with ctrl+tab(I assume that's what you meant since windows use alt+tab to switch between software) only seem to have a 1 frame delay before the content actually appear and I assume I'm only noticing it because I spent time watching for this kind of thing while editing videos since it's so fast I can barely notice it.
I have a really fast computer though so that might play a part in it.
But yes, the lack of smooth scrolling is definitively annoying and it took me months to migrate to it from opera 12, but there's really no other viable choice sadly.
On the plus side, tab utilities allowed me to be able to refresh the active tab just by clicking it and it changed my world. A week after I enabled this, I was already constantly doing it in other browsers out of habit so discovering this helped soften the blow of moving.

"Opera Mail is now focused on one thing only - handling email better and faster than ever."
How comes, Opear Mail is just a small subset of Opera 12.17, and hasn't been touched for more than a year.
Or do you want to say that you are currently in the process of updating it? -

It’s now been over a year since Opera [..]
What are you talking about, I just installed Opera_Developer_26.0.1655.0_Setup.exe & saw that it's finished.. The path they went down, on - ever since 12.x basically means that Opera's over, done 4. I guess I thought how they're, maybe, tryin' out some new features, or SOMETHING, but this thing that's running on my screen.. Is funny, lol.
JavaScripts settings are gone, like they're trying to do-away, with, in Firefox (a/k/a 'SettingSanity' Add-on, for Mozilla); teh proxy settings are now shared w/MSIE, in Windblow$; opera://config - WHATever, there isn't -even- a settings page, w/parameters (like the about:config, in Firefox; like Opera USED to have), that's easily accessible (searching 4 it, now, but, who knows, maybe it doesn't even exist)
.. Meh, dunno if I'm even BOTHERED to find out what's going on.

OperaHUGEfailLMA0And therein lies your problem. You never BOTHERED to educate yourself in regards to what Opera was doing (like so many others who have whined and complained). Don't blame Opera for your own state of ignorance regarding their browser. They gave countless announcements regarding the changeover in addition to continuing to discuss the new browser on Facebook and in their blogs. Inform yourself by searching instead of just saying: "dunno if I'm even (sic) BOTHERED to find out what's going on."

Actually, it's right there - in the first sentence of this thread (which, also, I had quoted in my reply :)), Chromium (& I was STILL blind to read it, lolz!).
AnyWHO, problem solved! ;-P
P.S.
Seriously, though, did NOT realize how Opera had switched-over to teh Chromium engine.. & last night, needed a quick .mht web page save; but, instead, went on an epic journey - to nowhere - only to find out how one of the BEST browsers, that there ever was, was disintegrated and turned into **** -

Yeah... one of the best. I think at its height it attracted a crowd of about 2% of users worldwide. No, Opera has made the right decision and the browser is already better than before and getting even better with each new version.

Jealous?
Did you ever know the difference between art and mass production? :sherlock:
