@leocg said in Double-click on curent tab does not work:
So when you click on the tab, the page doesn't return to the top?
Yes.

Since this feature has worked, at version 132.0.5905.19, this feature works in one way only: if you at middle of a page, do a click on tab will get you at the top of the page, but if you click again, will not get at the middle of the page.
Try it, its easy to reproduce!

I installed version 132.0.5905.73 and the issue is still here. If you are in the middle of the page (on vertical direction) and do a click on the tab, the page will scroll on the top of the page, but if you do another click, the browser will do nothing!

Is there any chance to bring back this useful feature: when you are in the middle of the page, one click to the tab takes you to the top, and another click brings you back to the previous position?

@flaviu2 As the 2nd click deprecation refers to
RNA-3332 Clean up “scroll to top of active tab” and make it work on more sites
https://forums.opera.com/post/404519
There was an assumption by other user that the 2nd click was removed to make the 'scroll to top' feature work on more sites. But from Opera team there was no feedback regarding the reason of the removal. As for the another issue (which stays almost during ~3 years) when 'scroll to top' feature is triggering while moving tabs, there were no feedback as well why it stays unfixed.
