Not seeing a Start Page opening animation; the search box animation verges on annoying; my choice to display wallpaper was switched.

Because this is not a bug, this is an intended 'change' if you mean the decreasing/increasing animation when clicking SD tiles,

@andrew84 So you are telling me that when using middle click to open a speed dial site in a new tab and quickly clicking through them to open being super slow is an intended change? Please show me where in the change log this is intended. Because if that's the case this must be one of the dumbest intended changes I have ever seen in my life.

@max1c As said, I meant the animation (which = delay) when clicking SD tiles.
*If going through the opened background tabs is slow, then it's something else.

Hello guys, please remove this letter icon from our speed dial. Remove this and the little "smile" icon too. I like to have a speed dial full of site icons to navigate, using all the space I have but with the little "smile" I loose many space from above and now this crap letter icon with messages. Please, remove this useless thing.

Usually holiday things like that have a flag at opera://flags that you can disable. Not seeing a flag this time though.
