Is Opera serious with keeping the purple color?
That is ugly AF.
Perhaps they were listening to Prince while having design meetings.

@oilvaccine Yes, Opera is finally following Chromium on that, with the main profile being the default one.

I updated this version but still can' t watch Twitter and Instagram videos. I'm tired of it! I mostly don't want to use opera because of this problem. Are you going to do something about this issue? Thank you!

@parduspars Did you already checked https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/linux_libffmpeg_config, https://forums.opera.com/topic/37539/solved-solving-the-problem-of-the-opera-browser-with-video-playback-in-ubuntu-and-similar-distributions-linux-mint-kde-neon/ and https://forums.opera.com/topic/42185/the-videos-don-t-play-topic/ ?

Lots of problems with this version 4864, especially in Facebook.
Yesterday suddenly it didn't show these little "thumb up" and other icons under my comments in Facebook Groups. In my own postings in my profile it did.
Today suddenly it doesn't show anything in Facebook. No group, nothing. Only an empty page. I already deleted the cache, closed Opera, reopened it - still the same result.
Uninstalled this version (it's a standalone installation, so simply deleted the folder) and installed/copied the older version: no problems. Everything worked fine.
Then installed this new version 4864 again and had the same empty page.
Everything else, all my extensions, settings and so on is exactly the same.

I believe that was a Facebook issue, not browser related. Same noticed on Stable.

Just saying that Facebook on desktop has behaved very strange visually the last few days.

@vegelund
Perhaps the current version 4864 is particularly sensitive and reacts to even the slightest disturbance. The old 4857, on the other hand, runs without any problems. Still. -

@ralf-brinkmann: Confirmed. A fresh load of the page works but anything from cache breaks.

@davidgould, thank you. When I reload the page, the content is visible for less than a second, then it disappears again and the page is empty.

How can i get rid of start logo?
I want to start browsing immediately and not wasting time for no reason -

@leocg: I am using Linux Mint Xfce and I am beginner so these are too much for me. If I try these things, break somethings. So I think Opera should fix this problem.

@parduspars There is nothing Opera can do about it, since it's a legal issue and not a technical one.

@indiqazzz You can't but it should show up only after updates.

The next morning, 09:00 h: Still the same problems with Facebook and this version of Opera. No content visible, only an empty page. No problems with the previous developer version.

No issues here on Facebook in 102.0.4864.0 64-bit on Windows 11 22H2 for what it's worth.
