ralf-brinkmann last edited byThere seems to be a problem with the cookies. Again after closing Opera and relaunching it all my logged in pages are logged out. I must do the registration procedure for each forum and service. In the settings of Opera all my cookie rules are still available.

Ok, solution:
I deleted my Opera installation now (stand-alone installation) and copied my backup back. Then I launched Opera and went through all open tabs. Then I closed Opera without clearing the cache. Usually I clear the browser cache before I copy the complete folder as backup to another hard disc.
Then I started the update to 84.0.4309.0 and this time it worked. No read error for my profil and all cookies were still there. Therefore, no new registration in all the forums and service pages was necessary. -

It looks like 'Tab' and 'Space or Tab' options should be removed from mange search engines section because it works only in Chrome.
BABE's top sites look differently in this build but still weird (too tiny text and tiles, weird white glow effect in dark mode, spaces between tiles are too big)
*poor BABE... suffers and suffers beginning from that time when it was implemented. Instead of making a restyled version of the BABE which was in O58 and keeping its features there are continuous changes without significant improvements.
