Starting with v80.0.4170.72 the /silent switch no longer seems to be working.
Previous working command
"C:\Program Files\Opera\Launcher.exe" /uninstall /silent /norestartThis command works, but is not silent.
"C:\Program Files\Opera\Launcher.exe" /uninstall /runimmediately /norestartI've been unable to find any install log files to try to troubleshoot.

Wonder if there's a command-line switch forwarding problem with launcher.exe. Does the command still work if you try it on the opera.exe in the root of the install folder or the one in the version folder?

"C:\Program Files\Opera\81.0.4196.31\opera.exe" /uninstall /silent /norestart and "C:\Program Files\Opera\81.0.4196.31\installer.exe" /uninstall /silent /norestart both failed. i also tried removing to the /nerestart to make sure that wasn't causing any issues.
is there a way to have to installer generate a log file?

@dwaderich Hey, due to internal decision silent uninstall switch has been disabled for now.

@gmiazga Seriously? This makes Opera terribly unacceptable in any corporate environment. As an IT admin, I absolutely have to have the ability to uninstall applications in attended (silent) mode. I have hundreds of computers and cannot afford to connect to each and every computer to react to interactive user prompts.
Please bring this to concern to your decision-making team. The silent uninstall capability has to be brought back. Otherwise, everyone would have to go through all the hassle of developing Opera uninstall scripts to clean the mess.
