@johnd78 And yes, like I predicted (https://forums.opera.com/post/261939) the tabs closing bug is in Beta now. It was quite obvious.

Yep. That's too bad. The browser crashes when the last tab is closed. I'm waiting for a fix as soon as possible.

@kamil7165 Turn off the "Show popup with clipboard and recent downloads when uploading files" option in the Opera settings.

@thortik: Upd. The browser doesn't just close on the last tab, it does it almost constantly. It's just unbearable.

@thortik Yes, The bug appeared in 80.0.4170 Developer. Both Beta and Developer versions are just unusable because of that. You can try a workaround by pinning a tab.

Waiting for next developer build becaue of DNA-94642 [Mac] High memory consumption.

Reverted to Opera beta 79.0.4143.19 because version 80.0.4170.4 crashes on start:

$ opera-beta
opera-beta: symbol lookup error: opera-beta: undefined symbol: av_stream_get_first_dts

Slackware64 Linux 15.0 RC1 (-current) fully uptodate.

Had to upgrade opera-beta-ffmpeg-codecs from here:

https://repo.herecura.eu/herecura/x86_64/opera-beta-ffmpeg-codecs-94.0.4606.31-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

With this opera-beta starts fine.
