@leocg well, i just installed both instances of Opera and Opera GX on both computers and the problem was on both of them

@leocg I thought he was fairly clear, though he may want to test with different other programs. He said he has 2 programs running, one of which is a version of Opera. He uses the keyboard Alt-Tab to switch to the other program, then switches back to Opera the same way. I gather he is clicking on text, as double-clicking a link wouldn't matter.

Having started my laptop - can't duplicate on Developer, using old Opera Mail as the second program.

Try it here - when you double-click any word it should select the word. On that basis, I don't see a double-click after switching windows unless I actually double-click ... is that what you see?

I cannot replicate the problem. Have you tried with Opera portable version? Without extension and sync.

@sgunhouse it is double click mouse test site. I was pretty sure it is obvious. It show amount of clicks and delay inbetween of clicks

I can't generate any doubleclicks there - not by doubleclicking, not after switching applications/windows.

It doesn't consider any of my double-clicks to be so either (even when Opera does), and after switching windows via the keyboard registers only a single click.

Any extensions?

@sgunhouse extensions were the first that i disabled. All of them. Even uninstalled. Tried on another PC (notebook) same issue.
