I just tried to create a new profile, but the directory listed in Opera/About does not exist.

@sgunhouse said in Opera won't load any web pages (ok in Firefox and Chrome):
It does, but it is hidden by default. Try pasting it in to Explorer's location bar.
Found it, Thanks

Also check if there isn't any third party software blocking Opera from accessing the internet.
Hi,
What type of software do you mean? -

@paul-richardson Anti-virus, firewall, security and privacy related softwares .

If you have some "internet security suite" it may include a program that blocks unauthorized programs from accessing the internet (sort of an advanced firewall). If you do, you may have to tell that program to allow Opera to access the web. (Such a program could also allow web access while blocking Sync or auto-update.)

Hi Guys,
Tried everything I could think of, and most of your suggestions yesterday and nothing worked.
I gave up turned off and went to bed.
This morning it's working fine WTF!
So I'm OK for now, but no wiser about the cause.
Thanks for your help.
Paul

Hi @dinocro, sometimes websites detect ad-blockers and simply do not load a page or parts of it until you disable it, or display information asking you to disable it, or they will not allow you to see the page.

@dinocro I see, so maybe it's really something wrong with the extension. Perhaps you can visit its webpage on the store, and read latest comments - maybe someone else has the same issue like you, and/or add your complain about it, so that the author may try fix it.
