Hi guys,
I love Opera but it has recently stopped loading any web pages.
I don't believe anything has changed it just stopped working.
Both Firefox and Chrome are still loading pages perfectly.
Any ideas how I can get Opera back working?
Regards,
Paul

@paul-richardson So you want to open aa speed dial in a speed dial folder without opening that folder?
Absolutely.
That's a much better way of explaining it than I came up with.
P.S. It's only a suggestion, I'm not a programmer so I have no idea if it is possible. It's would just be a great improvement to the way I use Opera. -
RE: Click to open a speed dial in a folder without opening the folderSuggestions and feature requests
@carlbidwell
Hi, I think my question is being misunderstood.I am aware that if a Speed dial only goes to one site it is "live".
But seems that I'm the only one who has similar sites grouped together on one tab.
If (as I have ) there is more than 1 Web page on each, (see technical, travel and silhouette on the image below.
These links are not live instead they take you to another page to pick where you want to go.I want to miss out that step and go direct to my choice of the 4.
Obviously, not a popular idea if you don't use Opera Speed Dials as much as I do, I have dozens.

Click to open a speed dial in a folder without opening the folderSuggestions and feature requests
I use Opera on Windows 11.
On speed dial, would it be possible to make the four (highlighted) favourites on each tile "live" i.e. able to click and go directly to the page?
This would make getting to your "favourite" favourites even quicker.
What do others think of this suggestion, I'd be interested to know.

Why does Opera change the window sizeGeneral
Hi,
I don't run Opera full screen as I have other things to keep close watch on.
Why won't the Opera window stay the same size, I am continually having to re-size it's window to enable me to see my other stuff.

RE: [Solved] Opera won't load any web pages (ok in Firefox and Chrome)Opera for Windows
Hi Guys,
Tried everything I could think of, and most of your suggestions yesterday and nothing worked.
I gave up turned off and went to bed.
This morning it's working fine WTF!
So I'm OK for now, but no wiser about the cause.
Thanks for your help.

@leocg said in Opera won't load any web pages (ok in Firefox and Chrome):
Also check if there isn't any third party software blocking Opera from accessing the internet.
Hi,
What type of software do you mean? -

It does, but it is hidden by default. Try pasting it in to Explorer's location bar.
Found it, Thanks

I just tried to create a new profile, but the directory listed in Opera/About does not exist.
