when I hide speed dial and search bar I'm having a huge gap on top of the news section. this makes no sense. is this only a mac thing? is there going to be a fix for this?

@SilentHugOfDoom As far as i know, this is how it works on all desktop systems. And it doesn't seem to be considered an issue.

@leocg I believe this is a very big design issue. why am I having a big empty useless space on top of news section? when I visit a news site (for example theguardian.com) I don't see a huge, useless empty space on top of news. you know what I mean? I believe there should be a fix for this, and demand for a fix

@SilentHugOfDoom As far as i know, they don't seem to want news on start page to have that much highlight.

@leocg I don't see any point even so this should be optional, not everybody uses start page in the same way. I just want to see news and nothing else, and this huge empty space is a mistake. I believe this should be an easy fix for the developers...

@SilentHugOfDoom Since they don't see it as an issue, chances of a fix are very low.

@leocg do you know where can I make this request official to the opera devs?

@SilentHugOfDoom It was requested many times already by users (including me, I'm Windows user). I was requesting it since that time when the 'News' feature was implemented. They really don't think this looks weird, also they ignore requests about adding a toggle button in EasySetup menu to quickly show/hide speed dial tiles.

@andrew84 I believe they don't care about their users anymore and that's a very good excuse to leave Opera and start using Vivaldi...
