This new sidebar behavior uses to much space its not good.
i wont update to 66 and change to Vivaldi because you wont take these terrible changes back anyway...Thats how to lose customers....

Is it possible to see a link to a thread that explains the changes to pop out?
For me, I notice that it has suddenly become buggy. It occasionally will pop out and play sound, but now is completely black, unmovable, and pops up in a separate monitor. The original tab where the video came from is also pure black, but, again, I do get sound.
When it does work the volume controls are missing and it can't be resized to the degree it was previously.
I suspect that a lot of these changes to the video popout are by design in the same way that Opera moved away from the Presto engine to the Chromium engine. I'm just hoping to learn more about it.

@vegelund Goto the URL
opera://about
and take note of the "profile" path. Close Opera and open the "Preferences" file with JSONedit. Delete the "Keybindings" object. Then, under "extensions", delete the "commands" object and save your changes. Start Opera to see if the crashes go away. If so, reconfigure your shortcuts and see if they work without crashing. -

leocg, I would like to respectfully request you work on promoting Opera and its good points and try to present solutions rather than shutting people down and constantly berate Opera.
I happen to like Opera. Please let us know what you like about Opera. It does take a bit of extra work to fully answer people's questions and present possible solutions rather than your frequent can't be done/dismissive attitude, but it is more rewarding and it makes Opera as a corporation look better.

When I say you berate Opera I am specifically referring to this can't do attitude with Opera. Your dismissive answers are becoming a little frustrating for me.

@james438 Well, when I have a (possible) solution for an issue, I use to try to present it.
And when I have the answer to a question, I try to answer it. If my answer is that something can't be done, it may be that I know it can't be done or it may be just my opinion. -

@leocg: You have answered/addressed almost nothing that I said.
- Please try to be positive/enthusiastic about Opera.
- If it is only your opinion that something can't be done please say so and try to present a work around/alternative solution.
- Try to show some understanding/empathy with those that are having trouble with some aspect of the browser.
Can you please point out the link you were referring to regarding the changes to pop out?
