@miyukiwork If I play movies (music) from youtube in Opera Android, after stopping the screen or switching to another card, the playback stops. And if in the same application I turn on the computer view mode, YouTube works without any problems when the screen is turned off or by browsing the internet on another tab. From today Opera also serves as a music player in the background!

@miyukiwork chromium 75 has a problem with refresh gesture where it can be triggered in middle of page , not only at the top of a page....
Now opera beta has this issue ..
I suggest you not to update opera stable to chromium 75..
Chromium 76 fixes this issue..

Hello for all...
It's my first post here.
I like Opera browswer and curently use Beta version on my phone.
My only question is can status bar color change depends of current website (like on Chrome). I really don't like 'static' grey color.
Thanks

In which webpages does the problem happen? We want to verify the fix in next Chromium version.

@iosono
As @leocg says, it can't right now. However, there has been some user requests about this feature, so we can look into the possibilities. Feel free to suggest any feature you are interested in!

@miyukiwork it is already on detailed explanation why it's needed.
AMOLED and OLED displays need it.
https://forums.opera.com/topic/33369/amoled-and-oled-displays
The fasted method is described in that forum thread.

Maybe device specific or settings specific? We haven't confirmed the issue yet, so if you could share more info, it'll be really helpful for us.

@iosono me too, you can use tasker to make Opera full screen, but it's complicated to setup. The included topic link shows you opera mini can already prevent Amoled Oled burnin, but Opera Mobile not yet. Tasker is very difficult but for now I use it to put Opera in immersion mode. It has side effects like having to wait when switching tasks. Most beautiful is indeed every website a different status bar color, so this precious displays burn in or rather burn out as specified, without getting status bar burned in. Do you have AMOLED or OLED too ? With way I vote you up!

@miyukiwork Amoled and Oled displays would burn in as specified.

Immersion mode is fast to implement, see that topic, Opera mini already has it.

@iosono me too, in Galaxy 2 from 2011 long ago it seems, Google even had to modify Android itself. The status bar is so prominent in every application not going full screen. Hence icons became for example white at black and in other applications black on white. Opera has now seen several workarounds, simple to implement and your and my wish difficult to implement, but immersion mode for me has priority, use it as told with tasker, but Opera can do it natively soon if we ask. Most beautiful still is a color based on favicon icon every website has nowadays. Thanks for sharing the same concern. Amoled and Oled displays have this. And it's the future in displays technology. Thanks man, or woman, I would like to have it too.

Yes, your request (fullscreen or adblocking blacklist) exists in our internal system, but not prioritized. I'll try to bring them up again.

@miyukiwork thanks, since you understand helping can not always be done in a certain time. And people would for example downvote me when I tried to help, so might be happining to you. I upvote your explanation. Especially since you are helping but cannot yet do anything except with to understand.

I vote just for change status bar color depends of current web site. Don't think it's hard to implement, because Opera is based on Chromium and Chrome browser already have this feature.
Full screen mode isn't interesting for me and ad blocking, too (for that using host file)...
Thanks
