<![CDATA[Opera for Android 53]]>We are happy to announce the release of Opera for Android 53 (53.0.2569.141117). This version introduces improvements to ad blocking, session handling, and VPN.

More changes:

  • Suggested sites when searching
  • Performance improvements
  • Chromium 74

Please try the new version and leave a comment with any feedback you may have for us.

We're gradually rolling out the new version. It will be available to all users within a week.

Same prblem with chrome 53,only way is use desktop site not mobile

In chrome is possible stop preview,google.ro/com search setting-video preview stop in opera does working

No is not video view is video preview,is similar in windows,in windows when put mouse on video is starting preview.

Another solution would be to in the popup menu after pressing a link show 2 options.

Latest solution would mean 1 entry more in the hyperlink press popup menu, but if this makes it to final Opera, it is practically unusable at my tablet. And at Samsung phones it's already known Samsung has put a frame rate limiter on browsers which are not Samsung.

That would be sad, since the tablet non beta is only left, since Samsung doesn't do frame rate cap at tablets for non Samsung browsers.

Are you referring to the password list in Settings? If so, we have a known performance issue. If you have waited enough, they will show up.
