Ah, ok, I see that. And now it surely works. SO it seems that if we have a Web site that isn't allowing Flash and still doesn't display the "Allow" drop down, you can just add the website to the exceptions list under Flash settings

just adding the site to the exceptions list does not always work. I was doing that yesterday and it is not working when I add some sites to that list. I am not sure what the opera turbo is, but is definitely is not showing as any option when I click on the O in the upper left corner of my browser.

I had also contacted Adobe about this issue and they were doing quite a lot to try to get the issue resolved for me and in the end it was decided that this is browser behaviour, and not Flash Player, and it was recommend that I contact Opera for assistance.

Did that as well, but Opera certainly has not been of any help at all. At this point, I am going to start looking for another browser or just go back to using Google Chrome or Firefox and just dump Opera! If I could figure out how to go back to version 48.0 without loosing all of my settings, bookmarks and speed dials I would at least do that, but I can't find any information on how to do that either.

Chrome and any other Chromium based browsers based on the most recent version will behave the same. Other browsers like Firefox will probably start doing the same sooner or later.
Flash is in its ending process, so sites should start adapting to it.

@operaturbosucks Unless you have enabled it by yourself, Turbo will not enable itself on start up.
You can check if Turbo is enabled on settings page.

So, soon there will be no Flash for any browser, and how sites work will be up to each site to "redraw" their coding so as to work without Flash.

@bbildman That's it. And I hope that those sites that use Flash start moving to a more modern solution (HTML5?) soon and don't leave it for the last hour.

I'm also having trouble playing flash videos since i updated earlier today. Luckily adding exceptions manually has worked so far although it's annoying.

Opera doesn't show me popup and allowing vk.com in settings doesn't work either.
Opera, don't make me delete you.

@nvmjustagirl clicking the placeholder does nothing.
                                    http://www.ultrasounds.com/US.html - this doesn't work too.
Allowing flash for www.ultrasounds.com has no effect.

to enable flash looks like this

                                      0_1510911464729_1a.png

@leocg Opera 49.0 simply does not support Flash. Revert to an older version if possible or use a different browser. It's not a Flash issue but an Opera one, and Opera seems to be unable or unwilling to fix it.

                                            @leocg https://forums.opera.com/topic/23278/none-of-the-versions-of-opera-runs-a-site-with-flash-even-in-the-block-exception-list

                                            No buddy. It isn't true.

In Chromium still working without exception list and in Google Chrome only if in the exception list and in Opera neither.

All 3 versions in Windows or Linux.

Now if the developers of Opera because the flash plugin is to be replaced over time consider as a feature Opera browsers no longer have any support right now even if the engine it uses does not have this restriction we have a point to be questioned.
Or it's simply a design flaw that has been hard hit because most sites are migrating to HTML5 and few users are aware of it.
                                            What I'm saying that?
Because neither the exception list work and this is no related to flash plugin anyway.
And because in Chromium/Chrome the exception list work like a charm.
