Video Pop-Out aspect ratio not locked

Description: Ever since introduction in O37, the aspect ratio for video pop-out has been temperamental, broken on and off, and it is still broken as the title says
Steps to reproduce: Open a YouTube video, click video pop-out. Here are a some test videos:

Expected result: Video pop-out aspect ratio should be locked when resizing the video, and no border around the video
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
URL: YouTube et al.
Version of Opera: 45.0.2552.812 (PGO) - Stable
I've searched the Blog posts and the Forum and others have had this problem but it's not been fixed (https://forums.opera.com/topic/17888/video-pop-out-scaling-problems-and-crash-with-yt-clips). I've tried disabling hardware acceleration, yet bug persists.

Also notice how some of the entries have the "bugfix" symbol at the end of them. Besides, what does to these entries describe, what the bug is? what was done about the bug? or what is to be done about the bug? It's all too confusing.
Would it be more appropriate to file this here instead?: https://bugs.opera.com/wizard/desktop
Any help would be appreciated but, please, no snarky comments.

This means that it was a bug and it has been fixed.
Besides, what does to these entries describe, what the bug is?
Usually what the title of the bug says but I admit some may be hard to understand.
what was done about the bug?
If it is listed in the changelog and have the bugfix simbol then it means that the bug was fixed.
Would it be more appropriate to file this here instead?
If you really think it's a bug, yes.
BTW, how to check if aspect ratio is locked or not?

It used to be. And popout was without this stupid black border which stretches through the popout in such weird way it's hard to adjust it.

I appreciate the clarification, thanks. Aspect ratio on a rectangle simply means the ratio between the length and height. If something (e.g. a video) is 16:9 (16 units wide, 9 units high), then when stretching the video player/container the length and height ratio of the video should always remain 16:9 WITHOUT creating any space between the very edge of the video image and the the edge of the player/container. Meaning when trying to stretch the a side horizontally, the container will also automatically stretch vertically to keep the same ratio of the image.

Exactly, it's an annoying bug that near enough breaks the purpose of the video pop-out feature. It's a recognised bug but hasn't been mentioned since 2 versions ago, it's not even mentioned (so far) in O46.
This is what it's supposed to look like, a borderless, frameless, image. The fact that you can't achieve that no matter what video you try, without getting black bars and space, is the problem.
In Opera 44 the issue was still there but at least there was no border, just black bars and space, meaning that once you had to stretched both the height and width of the video manually, separately, you would never touch it again (even if it was too small for another video). Now, it's even worse.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, and this is important: I truly really do appreciate all the work Opera has put in to make this incredible free browser, nothing can hold a candle to it in all seriousness. Thank You So Much.

As I said, the border is another issue and have been already discussed around here in the forums.

At this point replies like yours are not helpful, seems like your just commenting just for the sake of commenting. I noticed you the first time - but picking out one line in all of the post just shifts the attention elsewhere.The thread about 'O45 pop-out has a border' was created 12th April, O45 Stable was released 10th May - as far as I'm concerned, unless a person is a bugtester they shouldn't be be creating a thread about it, just reporting it as a bug instead IF it hasn't been fixed by Release Candidate (just before Stable release). Who knows they may have fixed it by Stable build. Creating unnecessary threads just wastes time.
REGARDLESS my words still stand in the LITERAL sense that the 'video bars' AND 'black space' do still create a "non-frameless pop-out", NOT just the fact that is has a border. Meaning that even if it didn't have a border the problem would still be there, created by the bug that has been apparent since O41.

You should have continued reading.My point is that the border issue is not related to the aspect ratio. As you said yourself, there are versions of Opera with aspect ratio unlocked that don't show the border, what seems to have appeared because of Reborn changes.

Woohoo! They finally fixed it!
Apparently it's been fixed as of:

but I just tested it in the first O51 stable release today "51.0.2830.26 – 2018-02-07".Thank You so much Opera team!
