Hi! We are happy to announce the release of Opera Mini 23 (23.0.2254.114923).
In this version, Facebook and media user experience is better. In Extreme savings mode mode, Opera Mini scans downloadable files in Facebook, Pagalworld, Tubidy, DJPunjab and a few more sites and list them in the media panel. So, the download experience should be a lot more easy with those sites now. We've implemented several more features in this version and the features are:
-- Facebook notification bar
-- Media download panel
-- New one-hand friendly video player
-- Social login for Sync with Opera
-- Video improvement: more compressed video in Extreme mode
-- Facebook performance improvement
Please take Opera Mini for a spin and leave a comment with any feedback you may have for us.
You can get Opera Mini for Android here: http://opr.as/r2S

@miyukiwork
Facebook Performance Improvement ??? Seriously??
But in here for me it takes damn long time to Access on Facebook for the first time (ping/latency/access time to connect) always after open Opera Mini or just a Restart.
And I don't get any media download panel for Facebook though I was in a facebook page which has some videos. Media download panel not working for me only for Facebook.
But got media download panel on some other media downloadable website. Don't know why this feature doesn't work for me only for Facebook. And Facebook connecting time takes so long rather than previous version of Opera Mini.
And I've battery draining problem on my handset. That's why I always disable one of the great battery hungry & resource hungry app 'Google Play services'
But after I disabled this app the 'Facebook Notification' feature is vanished from the Opera Mini's setting. So, my suggestion is to make facebook notification feature which will work without Google Play service app as like as working as UC Browser. -

Hi what have you done with the tabs and the opera icon? I now can't change tabs or clear history or find any settings at all?!
Looking at the reviews on Google Play, others are having the same issue.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Settings are at the same place as well as tabs and history.
No they are not. Otherwise why would I have posted that? There is no settings menu, none. The hamburger (three dots) is the only clickable thing (apart from a pointless QR code reader....) and under that menu there is only:
save to offline
add to speed dial
add to home screen
add to bookmarks
find in page
shareIf I could post a screenshot I would.

Before you could see when an article was posted on the news feed "15 hours ago", how do I see that now without having to load the article.

Facing some problems. It takes too much time to load a video for online streaming. Specially for facebook videos. I try to play a facebook video (almost 1.7MB file) but after 40-50 seconds later there's still loading animation. Then I press back and Opera Mini didn't respond & crushed.
Everytime I press back from video loading phase everytime Opera Mini crushed.
Then I download the following video & can able to watch successfully. Don't know what is really going on about streaming.
At least, make some improvement about streaming feature. -

Can't able to download anything from uploads.to website both in Extreme & High saving mode. While all other browsers works fine.
Here is a file link https://uploads.to/ez1u74y4gsat
Extreme mode says 'Forbidden' whereas High mode can enter & can generate direct download link but after select download it redirects to homepage. -

I have been using Opera for a long time but never expected this.
It's quite dissatisfying and unexpected that in the new update of Opera mini fast Android web browser, the browser language choice for Indic language "Odia" (ଓଡିଆ), which is spoken by almost 40 million people, has been removed.
However in previous versions the Odia language choice was there but in recent update version 23.0.2254.114923 (March 24), it has been removed.
I request you to kindly add "Odia language" (ଓଡିଆ) back to the browser default language choice option.
I had sent numerous feedback and would also suggest you to add Odia as a browser language in PC version of Opera browser.Expect your reply & prompt response.
Thanks.

Here they are.
Here what is?
Don't know, maybe you were using a old version?
Using latest version from play store.
Settings can be accessed by taping the Opera icon at the right bottom.
The web page/landing page takes up the whole screen, there is nothing at the bottom.
I don't know if it's stuck in full screen mode or something, I've deleted the app and re-installed.
It's obviously a bug.

Nor in the top? Are you using classic mode?
The top has the address bar and the three dots menu. But nothing else.

Greek language also removed among others with no apparent reason.
Please fix that -
