<![CDATA[Opera Mini 23 for Android]]>Hi! We are happy to announce the release of Opera Mini 23 (23.0.2254.114923).
In this version, Facebook and media user experience is better.

In Extreme savings mode mode, Opera Mini scans downloadable files in Facebook, Pagalworld, Tubidy, DJPunjab and a few more sites and list them in the media panel. So, the download experience should be a lot more easy with those sites now. We've implemented several more features in this version and the features are:

-- Facebook notification bar

-- Media download panel

-- New one-hand friendly video player

-- Social login for Sync with Opera

-- Video improvement: more compressed video in Extreme mode

-- Facebook performance improvement

how to disable the reply column below opera mini on my android when i read an online news? it was really disturbed, 'coz i can' t view other tabs that opened before.....

drawbacks since version 25:
(1) always lag (might be related to browser screen refresh)
(2) download settings: no "wait for wifi"
(3) download list: no "clear completed"

Try to turn off notification from Opera Mini's setting.
Actually I always disable the battery hungry & resource hungry app 'Google Play Services' & that's why my Notification setting is automatically turned off & I don't get any ads from Opera.

Which makes it really faster. But it would be more faster if there has "Webpage Preloading" & "Hardware Acceleration" feature.

And obviously, As usual the first loading speed of any streaming video & the file downloading speed is as slow as hell.
Whatever, it seems now a days Opera Mini developers are keep attention to make it faster. Kudos 😎

  7. ADD PRIVATE MODE OPTION ON FRONT MENU OPTIONS
  8. ADD A BACKGROUND WALLPAPER CHANGING OPTION
  9. ADD SECURITY ON DOWNLOADS
  10. ADD SCREEN ROTATION ON/OFF
  11. ADD NOTIFICATIONS OPTION FOR OTHER SITES TOO (LIKE - FB, TWITTER, WHATSAPP, INSTAGRAM, MAIL, YOUTUBE, QUORA, 9GAG etc..) IN NOTIFICATION AREA
  12. ADD INBUILT ANTIVIRUS TO PREVENT US FROM GOING TO HARMFUL PAGES
  13. ADD NEWS UPDATE FEATURE IN NOTIFICATION & LOCKSCREEN AREA
  14. ADD A VPN (if possible)
  15. ADD A POWER MANAGEMENT OPTION TO DISABLE THE FEATURES, WHICH ONE USER DON'T WANT TO USE

Beside these features there are some other problems i'm facing with this browser which i have never experienced before some previous updates like :-

  1. When my smartphone gets disconnected from wifi even for a little while, it just stops connecting anymore even when the connection is back ON.
  2. Whenever i try to rename any mp3 or mp4 downloading file, renaming option always troubles me like when i try to rename it the words i type gets written twice or maybe be something else. It's really really (extremely) frustrating...
  3. App needs stability in it's performance like when i use any stie with alot of words or any social media sites like twitter, fb, instagram or any torrent websites it starts lagging even on the smartphone with 6gb ram.
    Plzz fix these issues cause it's the only best browser i have found on whole Google PlayStore to be worth contacting the developers...Thank U for this app & all of it's various great updates, U GUYS ARE THE BEST..!!

Like download photos from facebook. After click download button Opera Mini says 'Download Failed' cause 'Access Denied'. Then I do download again & ya again 'Access Denied' Again press download again & again says 'Access Denied' then I again press download & then 'Download Finished' (Complete the Download)
WTF is this????? by the way, it happens frequently.
Still there has poor buggy built in download manager in Opera Mini

The nav bar is still there, just the tabs and settings buttons are gone.

Cleared app data, reinstalled, the tabs and settings buttons are still gone. Nowhere to be found, this happened after an update so I imagine it's a bug that has been introduced.

Do you use full screen? In previous versions I tried full screen and the navigation bar won't show after it hidden sometimes. Try to scroll up & down fast in portrait and landscape to see if it show. If it won't, then the last resort is to clear app data then sync to somewhat soften the blow. You definitely lose your feeds though.

From that I never set full screen, also the recent version never hide it and it perfect that way.
