blackbird71 last edited bySo, thus far, it happens on Windows and Linux systems; it happens with Olde Opera, New Opera, and Vivaldi. That's a fair cross-section which indicates there's something peculiar going on with the Opera website(s) and at least its cookies.

It happens on Android and Mac (I told users who were reporting it in those forums to come here) and on Firefox if you were previously logged in. Clearing cookies for "opera.com" seems to fix it (no, you don't have to clear all cookies - click on the "All cookies and site data" button to clear cookies for a specific site, or go to opera://settings/cookies )

I'm getting this too, with Chrome 56.0.2924.76 (64-bit) on Win 10.
After deleting all Opera's site cookies, everything's back fine again.
Yep, if I clear all opera.com cookies (not just forums.opera.com), things work fine again for a bit. But, the problem returns.
