Funnily enough this happens w/ Opera -- I'm using Safari to submit this

Essentially the Forum continuously loads the Index page and refuses to let you click through to any threads/pages.

I haven't investigated future, my guess is this is FrontEnd/JS issue, can provide more details if need be.

Tried clearing cookies and cache yet? No, I haven't either but those are next on my list.

Yes, it was broken for me all of yesterday, and today until I cleared the cookies.
After clearing the cookies, I logged in OK (it had been rejecting my login all the time until then as well) but it then redirected to http://forums.opera.com:8081/, which constantly failed with "not found".
Going completely out and in again it was then OK.

I cleared my cookies for opera.com and Opera started working - and Vivaldi (which I'd been using until I got Opera to work) stopped. So now I reset V and hopefully both will work now.

I cleared cookies for all opera sites, Opera started to work - but after some minutes went into cycle again. Browsing mostly without signing in now (signed in just for this posting).

I had problems too many times today, deleting cookies seems to fix the problem temporally at least according to the results.

I've been seeing the same thing for the past two days. Clearing cookies seems to fix it for a time, then it comes back after usually several hours. When it occurs, once in a while, the desired forum appears, but more often it jumps to the basic Opera forum index. On a few occasions, it goes to a white page that seems to be unable to continue loading. I've even had it occur when attempting to log in.

Seems like, if you log in on another browser (which would have to include a browser on a different computer or device) then your previous browser will do this. If I stick to Opera Developer on this laptop then I'm fine, if I switch to Vivaldi it loops until I clear cookies there and log in - and once I do, then Opera will now loop.

Well I haven't tried with any browser except Opera 12.18, and it was OK yesterday as I said, but today it had gone back to continuously looping again.
Just cleared the cookies again, and it's working OK again now, but how long for remains to be seen!

After cleaning cookies and cache it worked BUT only for a while amd then I started looping again.
So would be fine they fix it finally. It's really irritating issue, permanently login in private mode...

It's your your reference about The Forum as right place or about The Blog?
Is at least 3 days old bug "in all forums, I suppose".

Do Opera workers check the Forum?

This - the forum - is the place for it. I presume the forum software was updated recently but something went wrong - they either need to revert the change or (if they understand the software well enough, as it isn't "in house" software) try to fix it. Until one of the webmasters replies we don't know.

Still exactly the same here.
Works after cookies cleared until the following day, when it just keeps looping again.
If I stop the loop and try to log in I just get -
"You tried to access the address http://forums.opera.com:8081/, which is currently unavailable."
The only way back in is to clear the cookies again, after which it works for a while but then always fails again.

Still faulty again today and had to go through the whole process again.

Here I've been getting the loop issue mor often but so far just logging out and logging in again have been solving the issue.
