  Also, what I'm trying to do now is at least import the bookmarks from Opera to another browser, but that's not working either (I have an account and it was synched). I tried with 3 different browsers, Firefox, Vivaldi and Brave, but none recognized Opera (even though it's still installed on my device, although not working).

  @pilotos-1986 I've tested here and the problem didn't happen when I checked with adblocker disabled for YouTube.

  When you receive a new email in Gmail in Opera, a notification is displayed in the Windows 11 notification center.

  Previously, clicking on the notification opened Gmail in Opera directly. Now, clicking on the notification opens a "new tab" in Opera.

  Does anyone know a way to fix this?

  Update: It seems that this issue disappeared, for now (version 117.0.5408.154). The conversations can be opened and closed smoothly without lag.

  The topic can be closed if it's needed.

  Thanks @burnout426 and @axolos

  With a bit of playing around I discovered that the command line switch needed is --lang=en-GB as
  --lang=en just gives US format for dates.

  Still seems very obscure for ordinary users to know, but thanks for your help.
