This issue went away for so long and now its come back again...how do you guys keep managing to break the browser? You can't do anything when this happens. It's only started again since the most recent update.

@mleong There is no such hot key as far as I know, at least in Opera.
Lock so you cant switch page before the one youre on is fully loaded

@leocg Not an extension.
Fortunately, I have found the problem after removing all the extensions. Apparently, it was a problem with the "Forced Darm Mode". After turning it off the search results went back to normal.

Your answer did help me find the problem!

@operauser156 In Presto (Opera before version 14), you could disable fetching of images (as long as what you plan to click isn't an image) before opening the pages; I don't think there's anything similar in current versions of Opera. There's no such thing as "low graphics".

You might see if an extension can disable loading of images, that's all I can suggest.

@elecelis I don't think that in general a browser would know the difference. It can recognize and block third-party cookies (cookies from a site other than where the current page is), but in principle a site could use any of its own cookies for anything. So, which ones are essential?
