@leocg I had run an anti-virus and cleaned some other problems too but i also discovered the cause of the problem. Which is not related to the browser or at least not directly. It was a website that i am using that was having pop up ad system which normally always blocked by Opera but seems they either changed something or my Opera got lazy so it started to show itself. Added it to the adblock list as an extra measure which now closes the pop up easily. Though why it didn't before i do not know. Anyway thank you for helping me.
Just to leave registered, I tested the 'copy and paste' way to solve this problem in a real video call yesterday (using Opera GX, only) and I it didn't work unfortunately, although it doesn't seem to be a Opera GX's fault.
I was on a actual video call with a friend and everything was going well with the popup window, so I have copied and pasted the window's link in a new tab and the video call loaded perfectly (at the new tab). But right after the loading was finished I had to click on Hangout's button saying Join the meeting or something close to that. After click on it, I was duplicated, i. e., there were two of me and one of my friend on the calling (no problem though) and I could make me be listened and seen, but I was able to only see my friend, not to listen to him... that was the real problem.
After some tries we gave up from this solution and continued to use two windows separately.
The fact that you have to download an add-on to deal with a nonsensical issue that shouldn't exist in the first place is Hot Garbage .
I'm a many-tabs-per-window browser user, and using opera right now on a single window with about 30 tabs open. When I click to open a new tab from the "main" tab that's all the way over to the left, sometime it will open immediately next to the "main" tab, sometimes it will open randomly in the sea of tabs I have open to the right. And I have no idea when either protocol is going to occur.
Something else I have no idea about is the speeling in this paragraph as it's below the field of vision even though I'm typing this On The Opera Browser .
WTF is wrong with you people? Amateurs isn't strong enough of a word...
@aoirei said in Another chance for tab grouping / stacking (when Chrome is working on it):
@leocg That does not look as useful as Opera 12 tab stacking. Chrome's solution is better.
I just tried it in the office where Chrome is standard browser.
It's not the same as Opera 12 tab stacking.
I can not use this Chrome grouping and disabled it.
Still waiting for classic easy usable Opera 12 tab stacking.
Thanks for the feedback. The 'You' section begins with what other people are choosing and can be a bit clickbaity until it has a better grasp of your user profile. If you'd like to improve it, give it a bit more info by making some selections and then block the sources you don't like.
If you don't mind me asking, which country are you accessing it from? Also, would you mind giving me some more info on the bad sites you're seeing? Some URLs, screenshots, etc. I may be able to block them if they're causing problems, or at least send this information along as a recommendation to our team.
