@DerSchlingel with more research I might not have been clear enough. Before update 6.0.0 opera used file cabinet/stacked tabs, I switched to opera because of it after safari got rid of it. I’m having a hard time getting it back (I think impossible) or finding another browser that have the “file cabinet/stacked” tabs, that’s all I’m looking for in a iPhone web browser anything else is extra.
In my opinion, I think the new tab layout is awful, both in design and usability.

RE: how do I change it back to the old UI?Opera Browser
@DerSchlingel a 1w ago version 6.0.0 released
Including,
Tabs- New Tab Design
- Dual layouts: Grid and List
- Drag and drop to organize
- Search tabs
- Select multiple tabs to share or close multiple tabs
Menu - Facelift design
- Clean layout
I can not stand the new layout, I started using Opera for its “file cabinet” tabs; I want it to look like when I downloaded it. If I can’t get it back do you know any other web browsers that resemble what it looked like before 6.0.0.

RE: [Suggestion] Tabs laid out neatly beside one anotherOpera for Android
@lagpie They just implemented exactly what you suggested but I have a different opinion. I was actually looking for a way to change it back right now. I despise it with every fiber of my being and if I can’t figure out how to change it back I’m deleting it and finding a new browser and telling people to never get opera on their IPhone or cellphones in general.

how do I change it back to the old UI?Opera Browser
the new dreadfully bad user interface design including but not limited to; tabs, font, animations , etc. they made it look like the Safari browser after the iOS 15 update which is the entire reason I downloaded Safari. The new layout is so dreadful, either I need to be able to change it back or I need to go find a new browser… again. I don’t know why companies try to look like Apple it’s just Apple!
