Then, restart Opera.
For anything else, like if you see an ad banner on the start page, there should be an X near the top right of it that you can click and choose "Don't show again".

Facebook-videos (reels) don't work again.

This is stady issue, and need to be brought to an end. I basically like Opera, but with videos not working - and this is not a recent issue, this dates back to 2016 or earlier - I am really sick and tired of the issue. When I need to use another browser for videos I can use this browser also for all the other things and get rid of Opera.

This is the output when I try to view a video

Goto the URL opera://settings/easyFiles and disable the pop-up. Then, it'll just show a regular file picker from the operating system.

@xaliemorph I see from your pic that you're using Opera GX (in light mode). The setting isn't available in Opera GX yet. It's in regular Opera though.
