Hello.
I'm also experiencing the same problem with the Japanese version of Opera.
I hope a solution is released soon.
The situation hasn't changed even after updating, but I feel like the frequency of crashes has decreased.

Hi,
Even when I set the theme mode to System, it doesn't change the theme based on my system theme. I always have to manually change it to dark and light.

Make sure you're using Opera with a VPN connection set to start automatically. Then quit Opera, unplug from the internet, restart Opera, and observe that the VPN indicator turns yellow (pending). Now terminate Opera. Leave the internet disconnected. Click on the Opera icon to restart. It never actually launches because the previous session never fully terminated. Unless you happen know how to kill all of Opera's processes without introducing data corruption or an inconsistent state, then you have no safe choice but to reboot the entire OS. This is a rather awkward workaround, so thanks in advance for looking into this.

I'm looking for a feature or setting that would allow pop out windows to be turned to an overlay which cannot be interacted with.

Certain apps hide the mouse cursor, specifically games in my case, still allow the cursor to move freely, since the pop out is interactable & the cursor is hidden, you get taken out of the app unexpectedly and give the pop out priority as the active window.

This essentially would lock the pop up window until returning to the opera window with the unlock button being in the middle of the "playing in video popout".

Whether its a lock button on the pop out window itself or an option in settings I think this will be appreciated by more than just me, the amount of gamers that are on a single monitor setup which would be allowed indulge in 2nd screen viewing without the need to purchase another screen.

Combined with the usage limiters, this is the best quality pop out window I've used in terms of not dropping quality over time, it's just a shame that at times it can interrupt the flow.

It looks like Kroger’s website is blocking access from your browser for some reason, which is why you see that permission error. This can happen due to security settings, cookies, or your IP being temporarily flagged.

A few things you can try: clear your browser cache and cookies, disable any VPN or proxy you might be using, or try using a private/incognito window. If it still doesn’t work, switching to another browser (like you mentioned works) is the simplest solution.

Sometimes these errors are temporary and resolve on their own after a while.

What data did you export? Usually it can be imported in the same place where you have exported the information.

The built-in VPN feature is missing from the Chinese version of Opera due to local internet regulations, and the browser often disables it even if you try to install the international version. You cannot directly sync Workspaces with tabs using Opera Sync, so a manual migration is required. The process has two key parts:

Backup Tabs: Manually save all open tabs within each Workspace to a uniquely named Speed Dial folder. Then, export all Bookmarks (which includes these folders) to an HTML file.

Migrate Profile: Copy the entire Opera Profile folder (found via opera://about) from the old PC to the corresponding location on the new Windows 11/Parallels installation.

After migration, your Workspace names and settings should appear, and you can re-import the HTML file to the new browser, allowing you to open the saved tabs into the correct Workspaces.
