Go back to the topic list. At the top of the page it says "All Discusions" "My Discussions" ... and if you have a saved draft it should also say Drafts. Click on that. (You can also get to it from your profile.)

There's a fine line between censorship and keeping a forum moderated allowing freedom of speech.

I believe that to be the case as well, although of course the critics of Opera's current trends have plenty of freedom to raise a stink in pretty much every forum here. It would be nice to see clean threads of people demonstrating how they use these new features (I'm especially interested in SD, with a distant second being stash, although that seems more basic). "Testimonials" sounds a bit like advertising blurbs--most likely this is not what you meant. I was just thinking of people who have found ways to cram dozens of bookmarks into a SD start page--explaining how they did it. Even if this were heavily moderated, Opera critics could still post whatever they wanted, in other places.
How can I close a thread?

It would be good to be able to search in the forum with the search inquiry having both: (1) your name, and (2) some keywords to catch the discussion that you are looking for. If you go to your profile, and you've commented a lot (100s of times), it may still be hard to find the thread in question out of the long list of your discussions.

OK I think I'm seeing the method behind the madness. I have popop notifications set for everything EXCEPT for replies to my own threads, which I've set for email notfications.

Now when i view the Discussions page, that tells me the latest activity in all threads I've started. And the Notifications link in the upper left will let me know if I have any replies/comments in a thread that I have posted in, but not started. If there are no notifications ((I can see that in an instant), then I don't have to wonder if anyone has replied or not.

OK so I still can see, on one page, what replies I have yet to view.

Já temos o Português na lista. I don't fish very much of these things, mas, parece que foi concedido e instituído. Who doesn't cry doesn't mama (of the verb mamar). I hope "someone" to retire o xingatório and come back, happy and reconciliated.

The real problem is that accounts like mine seem to be borked. You can flag those posts as much as you want to. I don't get notifications about it. Seems to be different for other mods though...

So... is there any way the kind folks at Opera ASA can look into matters to rectify that, sooner rather than later? Perhaps even going so far as to create a new account for you, if needed? Right now, the spam has been piling up in the Opera Windows forum, and I don't think the spammers have any plans to lighten up in the foreseeable future...

It's probably being cause by the new sidebar, which you can suppress with a user.css.
Worked for me anyway!

And for me as moderator, the list on the right doesn't help much either. It tells the total number of messages, but not if any are new.
