Then what is the line in the changelog?

OK, I know what "future updates" means, but that line drew my attention.

And you should update the API reference, because it is outdated. Still states that the badge is not supported.

Could you repackage the extension, mentioning an updated version number in the manifest file, and just click on upgrading the existing version when submitting to the addons store - that should get the job done.

yea, I get that..on the hard way ツ
I switched to getRootByName in my extension
but it wasn't documented anywhere

btw. id's are not consistent...they are changed when adding new nodes (folders/bookmarks)
Chrome doesn't behave like that
BB is first child, other bookmarks is second (0 & 1). Everything else falls into those two.
In Opera other "major" roots switch their id's when something is added

opera_autoupdate process is not related to an extension update. The extensions correctly update themselves also on a USB installation. If the permissions have been changed additional notification is displayed below the address bar.

Hey

By today I tried both google cast and google cast beta in opera
Version: 31.0.1857.0
for windows.

No luck, all I get is a white blank dropdown menu when I click the chromecast icon 😕

opera:// should still work but the DEV release may not work as expected

It doesn't appear to have a license which allows modifying the code. You can probably modify it locally for personal use though.

The easiest thing would be to make a report on the above URL and request a feature change from the developer.

addons.opera.com detects which language your OS/browser is set to and provides descriptions in that language if available. If you want to change this, you can change the filter language on the search results page.

For example:
https://addons.opera.com/en/search/?query=youtube
There's a box in the top right corner where you can choose a specific language to show results for.
(I get a few search results here, btw)

If the extension is localized in multiple languages, there will be an "Other languages" list on the right hand side on the page for the extension.

From Opera 29 onwards, zoom related things from the tabs API will be supported.

listener for onZoomChange is not listed as supported
