As mentioned above, warning of this is already mentioned in the permissions. Please check the "permissions" category, both on the addons page as well as well as the extensions management page in the browser itself.

I don't think this functionality (to open external programs) is available with the extension API.

Confirmed in Opera developer 32. https://dev.opera.com/extensions/apis.html here it should stand if detectLanguage's not supported. It does not.

Hi there,

Streamus had some issues with Youtube and they were unable to come to an agreement. So it was removed from the Chrome webstore and (apparently) also from the Opera one. It had his API key removed so old Streamus extensions will not be able to add new songs to their playlist. However there are still ways to install Streamus with full functionality. Refer to the streamus reddit if you want to learn how to keep using it. Otherwise you are out of luck.

Unhelpful replies. This should be core functionality of every browser.

Nonetheless, I found a Chrome extension that has similar functionality:

The purpose was to build a tool that will switch the adsense affiliate code to any PUB-ID you want and every time a advertising was loaded it will be credit to that account. Usefull for Cyber Cafes owners.

No. If you want to make an extension that modifies on such a low level, you can only to it for Firefox, afaik.
