@leocg No, as I only use the extension on Opera, after verifying that the files were downloadable and the extension worked on other sites, I thought it might be an Opera problem and thus I came here.
As of now, it's gone back to working. Perhaps YT threw up some new change and the extension-makers have already adapted? I honestly don't have a clue. But it's the first time this has happened in literally YEARS of usage, so I was thrown.
I've found the solution from the youtube comments. Here is the comment:
"Okay so I got it. Basically your browser is configured to open the file in the browser itself. So, just right click on the file and save it. This will solve the problem..."
Same here, i though i would get fixed after these few years, but it still prevents me from uploading addons. Is it going to be fixed within this century???
@kkarakk still today my add on is in moderation. I don't know which way to turn 🤨
I have published at least 10 versions (updates) in the Firefox and Chrome stores.
Here version 1.0 of the extension is still in the process of moderation... 😕
In that topic, someone from Opera mentioned a while ago that they were in the process of implementing automatic moderation. Don't know in what stage such process is currently.
Post in the right forum, tell us what your operating system is and anything else that may be significant. Some firewalls have been known to block the VPN, as an example.
