The one I use is simple notepad. Doesn't have all of the functionality you want, but looks neat, works well and saves them in the browser. Also has an option for using opera notes style layout.
Not that I'm aware of. i urge it here in this add-on forum as a useful keyboard-shortcut feature for for an Opera add-on.
You might want to post a request for this type of keyboard functionality also in the Suggestion forum for an Opera feature. You could mention that all the other browsers provide that shortcut as part of the native browser, and it is useful.
Thanks for the feedback. This is a known issue that got a bit aggravated when My Opera was shut down and we lost the profile page and messaging. We've been looking at ways to channel more communication of this type to reports. We don't necessarily want to expose people's e-mail addresses to everyone.
Operative question being, why is the website blocked? Some network reason, or are they blocking just Opera by browser sniffing - or maybe blocking users due to location? Off-road mode or another proxy may get around some network blocks or location restrictions ...
I don't know if "fraud" is the right word ... that same extension was reported elsewhere as adware. Never used it myself, though the author in question has done that before.
Well, I do hope layout customization comes back in the near future at least. I miss being able to rearrange everything, including moving tabs to the bottom. I know Chrome itself is stubborn about no layout customization but hopefully the core code is flexible.
