The only thing you can do, to see the page on your local web server is to make it external. I don't know your network configuration, but you probably need to configure port forwarding: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding - then you should be able to access your web server with your external IP address (google: what is my IP) in Opera Mini.
Isn't this the way google images behaves normaly?
My desktop version does the same.
To open only the image, press long on the picture you want and select "open image" from the pop-up menu.
Word of warning: be aware of the constant data compression opera mini uses. The quality won't be the best!
Okay I will do this tomorrow and just to keep this post complete with infos if any one else encounters this issue:
This happens with both connection modes
Cellular ISP is O2 (a telefoncia sub company)
Wifi ISP is german Telecom
Install the latest Opera Mini or in-between v5-v7. Old ones doesn't suppose to work properly on latest android devices not being tested or updated for public release.
yeah.. Rafaelluik is right.. I already solved the problem by using an xposed module called app settings to change the dpi for opera mini only.. but now that you've mention the build.prop method, I'll try it out to avoid future problems with other apps..
thanks
so i meet my friend and let her open her hotspot on mobile since she has a different company " Vodafone " >>> AND FINALLY it complete installation and worked perfectly even after i used my network wich is very weird .. ..... my life is perfect now 😃 😃 ^_^
Right. Opera guys doesn't tell a thing about near future development, nor compatibilities between platforms with future inovations. One thing is for sure: It's complex! 😃
Truth is, hardly anyone there & it has mostly the same problems since they did very little.
If you can't accept the limitations of the product/browser switch to another product/browser either from Opera or from the competition. I'm closing the thread.
