Putting opera into backroud and back to front also makes text appear.
For now I "updated" back to 7.6.35843, which does not show this problem.
The 7.6.4... does work on my Tablet with CM11/Android 4.4.4, only the phone has the text missing.
The problem with the phone was on three different hosts shown by debug:.

usually when i choose to play a video from a site, a download option of the video will pop out. But now it does not pop out and start to stream the video online few days ago. It never happened before whenever i click them. I prefer to download than to stream it so what should I do? Please help me to solve the problem......using lenovo a560

You need root access to be able to access data partition of internal memory, the other option is to have custom recovery to backup data partition so then you can extract whatever files you want from the backup.

Never mind, I fixed it. Turned out I had an old version and update didn't bring in all the new stuff. I removed Opera and then installed it again. Everything good now, great browser!

I just recently got a Samsung Galaxy s4 phone (with Android 4.4) and downloaded Opera Mini 7.6 Android to it. The UI is so tiny on my screen (1080x1920). If there's a Mini version 8 coming to Android, please consider bigger UI for higher-resolution screens.

The only thing you can do, to see the page on your local web server is to make it external. I don't know your network configuration, but you probably need to configure port forwarding: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding - then you should be able to access your web server with your external IP address (google: what is my IP) in Opera Mini.

Isn't this the way google images behaves normaly?
My desktop version does the same.
To open only the image, press long on the picture you want and select "open image" from the pop-up menu.
Word of warning: be aware of the constant data compression opera mini uses. The quality won't be the best!
